====== Creation and updating of scientific profiles ======

Information on the creation of scientific profiles in ORCID, ResearcherID, Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar.

===== ORCID =====

USC has published a [[https://minerva.usc.es/xmlui/bitstream/handle/10347/13791/guia_orcid_set_2017.pdf?sequence=5&isAllowed=y|Guide to create and complete a record in ORCID]], where the procedure for registering an account, adding publications, and importing them from other networks such as Scopus, ResearcherID, or Google Scholar can be consulted.

===== Scopus =====

Scopus allows user profile searches by surname and ORCID code. Through the "Edit profile" functionality, articles can be searched to add to the profile or export the results, including the FECYT CVN format.

===== ResearchID =====

ResearchID allows the management of research profiles in Web of Science. Currently, the management of the Web of Science profile is done with the tool [[https://publons.com/ | Publons]].

This tool allows the management of profile publications, the export of the profile, citation tracking, and management of peer reviews.

===== Google Scholar =====

Google allows the [[https://scholar.google.com/citations?view_op=new_profile | creation of profiles]] as long as a Gmail address is available. Publications can be added in the following menu.

===== Research Gate =====

[[https://www.researchgate.net/|Research Gate]] is a network of researchers that allows us to share our articles and has many other functionalities. It is recommended to upload articles in //preprint// format to avoid conflicts with the sharing policies of different publishers.
